A graduate of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Tamal comes from years of experience in Bollywood and more importantly the polish of advertising. His feature length Screenplay ‘The Gift’ was selected by the NFDC Screenwriter’s Lab, travelling to the Sarajevo Film Festival  & the NFDC Co-Production Market. Tamal wrote Zee5’s debut Bengali series Kaali and is also the co-writer of a Netflix series produced by Anushka Sharma Productions. He truly is the “Young Turk”
